The American Savings Bank (ASB) Tower,
mauka side of King Street, between Bishop Street and *Alakea Street.
*Alakea means "white street." The definition in the link above for the word Alakea in the online Hawaiian dictionary has a typographical error, because it says Alakea means "while street."
Who uglified and vandalized the American Savings Bank Tower? The ASB Tower was previously known as the Pacific Tower at Bishop Square. A heinous atrocity was committed to the ASB Tower, presumably in the name of "art" and/or "Hawaiian culture." The culprits may have had good intentions, but the result was horrific. These miscreants must be brought to justice or they may strike again. If you have any information about this crime, please notify the authorities.
